The mission of the Korean American Association of the State of Maryland is to:
1) Nurture the next generation of Korean American leaders through its internship and mentorship programs for students;
2) Assist new immigrants and others in need so that they can live as productive members in Maryland;
3) Strengthen ties and/or a working relationship” with other Korean groups, other minority groups, and government officials to promote better understanding of different cultures, reduce or eliminate discrimination and hate crimes, and to provide a strong voice on legislative and policy issues that impact the Korean American and other minority communities; and
4) Educate the Korean American community to increase its civic participation and move toward supporting the next generation of leaders for the better future.
